The Samsung Galaxy S10 is undoubtedly a combination of top-hardware hardware and latest software.

 But now it has been shown that the flagship device misses features which automatically disable the screen when in your pocket.

Various users complained about accidental touch inputs that were observed in their pocket, on their Galaxy S10.

There is a pre-loaded option to prevent the blow of the Galaxy S10.However, it seems Samsung has not added a function that usually enables the built-in proximity sensor to lock the device when the user is in a pocket.

Many users have reported in Reddit and Samsung Community Forums that they keep the Galaxy S10 ₹ 65,365 in their pockets when they notice that being disturbed by the accidental touches.

"I have a S10 and I put my phone in my pocket with my screen in the pocket (since my leg is very less likely to have screen damage).

The only problem with this is that I started to feel the 'fingerprint rejected' vibration, the phone was in my pocket," users Posted in a Reddit. This factor also affects battery life in the Galaxy S10 models.

The user complains that this problem is not limited to the regular Galaxy S10 but the Galaxy S10 +. Also, it is worse when the device is always using the OpenOffle (AOD) feature that is designed to show the clock and notifications while using the handset.

A UI of Samsung, available in the Galaxy S10 range, comes with an accidental touch protection feature that helps the device protect it from accidental touch inputs in dark spaces, such as a pocket or a bag.

However, preloaded features for preventing accidental touch in pockets are not very useful in the latest flagships models.

Turning off the Touch Sensitivity feature that helps screen saver sensitivity while using screen protectors also does not help to prevent unnecessary touch inputs.

On the contrary, the Galaxy S10 is capable of preventing touch when compared to the S10 models, even in cheap pocket budgets. Uses Proximity Sensor to disable the handset screen.

Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 + also leverage the inbreed proximity sensor to lock the screen while in a call.

However, it seems that new models do not receive information from the socket, when they are attacked in pocket.

Samsung could bring a software update to fix accidental touch problems in the upcoming days. In the meantime, before using the Galaxy S10 in your pocket, it is advisable to use an external case across the screen.
